MEMBERSHIP
HCBC offers four types of membership opportunities all with their own unique benefits.
Individual Memberships provide members with personal liability insurance and accident insurance in the event an incident or injury caused by a horse or horses should occur. Whether you are a rider, driver, coach or parent protect yourself with the coverage an HCBC Membership will provide. HCBC members are insured with Capri Insurance. Horse Council of BC Membership is non-refundable.
Business Memberships are offered to businesses and organizations either directly or indirectly involved with the equestrian community. This is a fantastic opportunity to promote equine related products and/or services to the over 20,000 HCBC members.
Club Memberships are offered to equestrian groups operating on a local or regional basis. A Club is a non-profit organization, is not provincial in scope, that does not get a seat on the Board of Directors. A Provincial Association that wishes to decline a seat on the Board of Directors may join as a Club. Check status of Club members through HCBC Online
Affiliate Members must have a legal, current constitution filed with the BC Register of Companies. The Constitution must have entrenched provincial scope. Affiliates must have representation and active members (either individual or clubs) throughout the majority of the eight zones with a provision to include membership in all zones.
