The equine industry is complex and diverse. HCBC strives to provide the most up-to-date information on horse health and welfare. HCBC sits on the Board of BC Agriculture Council and BC Farm Animal Care Council as well as liaises with the BCVMA, WCFA, the BCSPCA and Provincial ministries.

HCBC’s programs encompass:

Breed associations can join as Affiliate Members of HCBC, which allows these groups an opportunity to voice their concerns and sit on the Board of Directors.
