HCBC Announces Partnership with the Horse Welfare Alliance of Canada (HWAC)
Horse Council British Columbia has partnered with other provincial equestrian federations and Farm Animal Care groups from across Canada to speak with a unified voice for the horse industry. This affiliation has created the HWAC of Canada.
The HWAC brings a collective voice to endorse the responsible use of horses throughout their lifetime and at their death, to ensure that a high standard of health and welfare of the horse is maintained throughout their life, regardless whether a horse is purpose bred for performance or food.
HWAC strives to provide a strong unified voice across Canada in support of values and ethics related to horse ownership, use and the industry in entirety.
For more information, visit the HWAC website.
