Strategic Planning
Sarah Bradley, President of the Horse Council BC is pleased to announce the formation of a Standing Committee for Strategic Planning.
On October 22, 2005 a Steering Committee for Strategic Planning was created for Horse Council BC to analyze the organization and then to guide the development of a strategic plan. Members appointed were Ron Nichols as Chair, Carolyn Farris, Gord MacKenzie, and Steven Dubas are committee members.
On April 22, 2006 the committee presented their finding to date to the HCBC Board of Directors and have now established the Strategic Plan Steering Committee as a "Standing Committee" with a mandate to develop and review a strategic plan for Horse Council BC.
This strategic plan will:
- strengthen our foundation,
- build on our success, and
- allow us to move in new directions.
